Black Business Roundtable is soliciting entertainment for the Hayward Juneteenth Street Party on Thursday, June 15th 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. There will be three (3) stages for performances. Each stage will have two (2) performances for a maximum of 30-45 minutes each. Performances focusing on black culture preferred including but not limited to the following:
Poetry
Music
Dance
Performance Art
B. Key Dates/Milestones
Submission Due: May 5th, 5:00pm
Auditions/Interviews: May 8th – May 12th
Selection: May 15th
II. Scope of Work
A. Overview
Vendor should describe form of entertainment and what equipment will be needed or what the vendor can provide.
III. Formal Proposal
A. Introduction
Describe act, type of entertainment, genre, and members of act. Also include fees for performance if any.
B. Proposal Response
Proposals should include video link to performances, website, and/or samples of music.
C. Non-conforming Proposal
Proposals non-conforming and late responses will not be accepted.
IV. Evaluations
A. Right of Refusal
Hayward Chamber of Commerce and the Black Business Roundtable has the right to refuse any proposals.
B. Committee Review
Initial intake will be done by the Juneteenth Planning Committee. Selected applications will be submitted for final review to the Entertainment Panel. The Entertainment Panel will request an audition or interview before final selection.
