Street Party Food Vendor Info

Alameda County Department of Enviornmental Health has very helpful resources for those that are new to food vending at festivals. A Temporary Food Facility Permit is required to sell, give away or sample any food or drinks to the public.

The County holds a free food vendor information session on the first Wednesday of every month.

Review the CA Health and Safety Code requirements for temporary food vendors, which is a “Cheat Sheet” for those looking for answers to questions regarding requirements.

You can learn more about Temporary Food Facility Permits by visiting the Alameda County Department of Environment Health website.
