Hayward Chamber of Commerce attended a small business workshop hosted by the office of Senator Aisha Wahab, in collaboration with the Silicon Valley Central Chamber last week. Presenters included: 

DGS - Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services - Outreach, Certification, and education Resources if you are a disabled veteran business pursuing contract opportunities with the state.

California State Treasurer’s Office- Go Green Financing - The GoGreen Business Energy Financing program (GoGreen Business, formerly the Small Business Financing program) helps California’s small businesses and nonprofits access attractive financing for energy efficiency retrofits.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) - CISA offers free information and tools, such as technical assistance, exercises, cybersecurity assessments, free training,  to help small businesses protect their people, customers, intellectual property, and other sensitive data cyber and physical threats.

Northern California - California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) - The California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalSOBA) serves as the voice of small business, representing your views and interests and advocating for equitable access to capital, markets and resources.

Find a Business Advisory - California funds a network of Small Business Support Centers that provide no-cost one-on-one consulting and no-cost or low-cost training services and programs to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Their expert advisors can assist you with all stages of your business including startup business plans, access to financing, growth, resiliency plans, e-commerce, marketing and mre.
