Fremont Mayor Lily Mei has been endorsed for California State Senate, District 10; and Dublin Council member Shawn Kumagai has been endorsed for California State Assembly, District 20, both by Good Government Now, the political action committee of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce.
The Hayward Chamber of Commerce respectfully requests support for Senate Bill 884 (McGuire), which would allow for the review and approval of multi-year Wildfire Mitigation Plans, specifically placing overheard electrical equipment underground as a risk reduction measure.
